Disturbing Trends is now two weblogs – a blogger site that provides headlines into articles on this side, where more indepth analysis can occur with your comments and contributed articles.

Disturbing Trends covers political events contrasting the USA against those in New Zealand, with a focus on the war on political trends, Iraq, terrorism, the US Government and Al Queda.

The inner site uses WordPress – and that means we can invite contributors to this blog. The rules of article submission are:

  • You must register to be a contributor.
  • Your submitted articles may or may not appear on the site, but are considered your published works on the site.
  • Facts should be backed up with sources, preferably links.
  • Sources should be cited.  Fair use (like one paragraph) quoting of sources is okay, but no news articles clipped in full, or posts containing copyright material will be published.
  • Disturbing Trends is interested in analysis of the news, what may come next.  Not so interested in endless dissections of the past.  The present, the now, is of course the most interesting.
  • As the site is non-profit we allow articles to contain outbound links to your own website.
  • As this site is not for profit, we do not usually pay for contributions. 
  • Contributed articles must carry the author’s byline.
